Mandatum Mutatus Mutandis

MANDATUM MUTATIS MUTANDIS
"We Command, Change as Needs to be Changed."
...a call to action.

In the twilight of this disillusionment, as we grasp for what may be left to salvage of the American dream, we find ourselves reaching out to our neighbors once more and though we still possess skilled hands and motivated spirits; hard times have fallen on the American people.  Isn't our workforce larger than ever? Hasn't our ability to cull our natural resources and refine them improved? Shouldn't this nation of hardworking, well-educated people be at her peak? With our children's peak  still yet to come?

We hear the news and then overhear it again, through our social circles, telling us the reason for our economic downturn, low employment rates, homelessness, people going hungry right here on our American streets . We hear that it has something to do with a bubble, in the market, popping and costs rising, due to inflation...but, let me be the one, to pop their bubble and speak a refreshing breathe of truth on the matter:

We all know why our economy has gone sour; our government and the corporations who own them have put a choke hold of policies, regulations, taxes and fees on us, squelching out the last spark of American ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit, while those moving ahead are taxed and penalized so heavily that they become undignified servants to a welfare state. However, those who rely on State Welfare, have essentially been asked to stay on welfare or starve, as the bridge to economic freedom was never built.

...so, here we sit idly by, as our liberties are stripped away, as heavy burdens and demands are placed on our shoulders. Meanwhile, the few demands we make of our government, to uphold our constitution and "balance" our budget, are not just ignored, but dismissed with utter contempt. Elections have become theater, our votes thrown away.

Are we a nation of apathetic people? Have we forgotten? Our rights are not given to us by our government, but are endowed to us by our creator and are unalienable! It is my opinion, you are not apathetic, you do care about your freedom, and you too, must feel a nagging sense of injustice, tugging at your coat tails, begging for action. Who could have foreseen our own representatives, Americans themselves, tearing down and shredding up the constitution to make a comfortable seat for themselves?

I caution; the crossroads before us at this time, will hastily disappear into the horizon as we are caught on a speeding train headed for economic slavery and dependence on a broken system for our survival. The very real death of America and our freedom to live out our own destiny, will be irrevocable, and when our ability to fight back has been taken, once and for all, this life, this American dream, will be over.

I, for one, refuse to watch our Great Nation fall to her knees...

Our free system of government was never meant to be left alone, to work on its own bearings; the People are meant to govern, and the moment We stop governing, this ceases to be a free system. Our grandfathers have shed their blood on battlefield, protecting our inheritance of freedom. We are long overdue in our duty to hold ourselves accountable as the governing authority and moreover, to hold our representatives liable. Now is the time, with firm but peaceful action, to take back what our Grandfathers fought for.

...this is it.
