This too shall pass...

 Wherever you are in your life right now, whatever is overwhelming, unbearable, indomitable or hopeless...breathe in with me....this too shall pass.

These moments soften in passed time and will form a beautiful patina with age that you will remember fondly.

Please also take note that whatever is peaceful, loving, safe and brings you joy, this too shall also pass.

When my children were young, I cried tears, hot for wanting purpose! To be recognized by someone or something. To be heard and to make a difference.

This has passed....

Now that my kids are almost all grown, I have found some path, some purpose and I can make a difference...but I would give anything to have those busy mommy days back. To care for and be needed by someone again.

This too shall pass....

The day may come where I will be needed by someone, and have to care for someone again. It will not be easy. However, knowing this too shall pass, and I have grown wiser. 

Learn to enjoy your moments. Even the painful and lonely ones, the overwhelming and busy ones, the ones you feel will never pass.

Because they too shall pass...

We've made this trip so many times around, it makes me dizzy.This beautiful, tragic, spinning kaleidoscope I've seen. Through your eyes, deep, in ancient times until the new, It was always you. Through the black holes of the windows to my soul. Something has started, you must be feeling this too! The tune has changed, we danced so long but now we sing. Turn your head now baby Just Spit Me Out

Feeling underappreciated and saddened at how it is possible to pour your heart out, give your time and all you have to give to another person and have them spit in your face. I had the epiphany that this is how God must feel when his children sin. He pours his unending love out for us, he gives of all he is For Us and we spit in the face of the almighty and go about doing contradictory and counterproductive things- and he keeps loving us all the same.  I will continue to feel unappreciated and taken from, as long as I continue to take for granted the blessings in my life. Once I learn to give back to God in appreciation and gratitude, the same way I would give back to anyone who would go out of their way for me- then I will know what being loved is meant to feel like.

Dancing With Kings

My bare feet situated in the dirt, pebbles and pine needles strobing heat in red and orange waves, hugs my skin The wind playing in my hair like a cat with soft new yarn The timelessness of this scene stretching beyond history's time. Peacefully content and warm, those I love, sleep near nothing lacking, nothing needed, we have been provided for And as I voice my praise, in gratitude of God's mercy My sights are directed to the towering Kings of this forest. Silence. Utter silence as if the world were put on mute, my gaze transfixed on these massive statues, and I see. The wind, I know to be as one animal, melting into their stone they danced in silent magnitude against the glowing night sky.
