It's a bright New World

"...while recognizing differential aptitudes and talents, he holds that these are gifts from God to be used for the collective good." -Nelson Mandela on Gandhi

In our history as humankind, we have fought and struggled to survive and pass on our knowledge to the next generation, in order to see their lives be even slightly easier than our own. Through the collective knowledge of our ancestors we have arrived at a point in time where humanity no longer has to struggle to exist. Our fight is over. We can cultivate all we need to live, and through this knowledge we have also gained a maturity of ages.

We have awareness of our place and impact. We know all the golden statues and riches of our country do not place us in higher standing. These illusions, like a child's imagination, are now seen as what they are. Pleasantries, comfort, but not real security, nothing we can take with us for sure. We know it doesn't make us more than we already are....so what are we?

Just people! Like our family, like our neighbors. We now have the capability to focus on each other, the one thing that is important. The one things that has always been important. When our needs as animals have been met...food, water, shelter, etc., all there is left is each other.

This is a time in our history when our mature thinking and more responsible ways should lead us to put down our toys, our gold, our egos, and look into the eyes of our family, our neighbors. Make them matter, make the betterment of us all a priority. We each have vast skills and hold endless knowledge. We are capable of abundant joy and fulfillment also! We have arrived, we're here. Enjoy your life, love and be loved...there is nothing more important.
