Daily Business

How do I just move about my daily business? How can so many stick their head in the sand and just Take It!? We have become so focused on our personal woes and tribulations, our daily survival and life long pursuits, we can't bear to take on anyone else's burden or cause, nonetheless step back and think about our global community. Everyone is dying to make some kind of change in this insanity!!!

 At this time in our human history, we have grown past needing direct supervision and guidance. We do not need a father or chief to control and contain us. Our minds have been freed, even as we sit imprisoned by mindless drone work. We, no longer, must fear mother nature as a calculating threat to our kind. Lighting does not strike out of anger and droughts are not punishment for our deeds. We do not need these explanations any longer. With a better understanding of the earth, and a more humble view of our part in it, we can live amongst each other, as free people.

We are all capable of taking our rightful place at the table of a productive and cooperative society. I do wince at the word "society," even as I say it. That is the Problem! "Society." Each of us are so astoundingly unique and perfect. It is ignorant to think we could fit into anyone else's mold. What makes us think we can compress ourselves into this blind, bland, gelatinous mass and ever achieve anything more than self-slavery?

This is not even conformity at best, this is Suicide!

We've made this trip so many times around, it makes me dizzy.This beautiful, tragic, spinning kaleidoscope I've seen. Through your eyes, deep, in ancient times until the new, It was always you. Through the black holes of the windows to my soul. Something has started, you must be feeling this too! The tune has changed, we danced so long but now we sing. Turn your head now baby Just Spit Me Out

Feeling underappreciated and saddened at how it is possible to pour your heart out, give your time and all you have to give to another person and have them spit in your face. I had the epiphany that this is how God must feel when his children sin. He pours his unending love out for us, he gives of all he is For Us and we spit in the face of the almighty and go about doing contradictory and counterproductive things- and he keeps loving us all the same.  I will continue to feel unappreciated and taken from, as long as I continue to take for granted the blessings in my life. Once I learn to give back to God in appreciation and gratitude, the same way I would give back to anyone who would go out of their way for me- then I will know what being loved is meant to feel like.

Dancing With Kings

My bare feet situated in the dirt, pebbles and pine needles strobing heat in red and orange waves, hugs my skin The wind playing in my hair like a cat with soft new yarn The timelessness of this scene stretching beyond history's time. Peacefully content and warm, those I love, sleep near nothing lacking, nothing needed, we have been provided for And as I voice my praise, in gratitude of God's mercy My sights are directed to the towering Kings of this forest. Silence. Utter silence as if the world were put on mute, my gaze transfixed on these massive statues, and I see. The wind, I know to be as one animal, melting into their stone they danced in silent magnitude against the glowing night sky.
